A Decree from Augustan Age : More on Suppl. Cirenaico 105 · The paper considers an already published inscription (Suppl. Cirenaico 105 = IR Cyrenaica 2020 C.737) and offers a new interpretation by reading it as part joining IR Cyrenaica 2020 C.688. The two documents thus belong to the same bilingual monument, erected in the Augustan age to honour a cyrenean citizen – Alexis son of Alexandros – whose major achievements for the city are well : ambassadorships, grants, and actions against the Marmarids, in which he distinguished himself as a military leader (hagemon).
