This article explores the potential of the Self-Determined Learning Model of Instruction (SDLMI) as a tool for interactive learning based on personalized and student-centered education. Since the SDLMI aims to develop self-regulation and problem-solving skills, the teachinglearning process prioritizes the active involvement of students to prepare them for the challenges of an ever-changing world. The article proposes a validation protocol for adapting the model to different cultural and institutional settings and evaluating the effectiveness of its implementation. The reflection moves toward the benefits of a selfdetermination-centered educational approach, highlighting how SDLMI can foster meaningful learning for all students.

Abstract
This article explores the potential of the Self-Determined Learning Model of Instruction (SDLMI) as a tool for interactive learning based on personalized and student-centered education. Since the SDLMI aims to develop self-regulation and problem-solving skills, the teachinglearning process prioritizes the active involvement of students to prepare them for the challenges of an ever-changing world. The article proposes a validation protocol for adapting the model to different cultural and institutional settings and evaluating the effectiveness of its implementation. The reflection moves toward the benefits of a selfdetermination-centered educational approach, highlighting how SDLMI can foster meaningful learning for all students.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
