The aim of this paper is to question the possibility that a sense of the holy is given by tracing the interiority where it is given and which we propose to consider as ‘holy’. Through the dialogue with Immanuel Kant, Augustin of Hyppo, Rudolph Otto and Alphonse Gratry, this interiority/holy will be grasped through a path that at first will question the reversal of the ‘natural’ topic of inside/outside that apparently seems to command the manifestation of the interiority. Starting from Max Scheler, the inversion of this topic mani- festing the interiority/holy will be led by a feeling, the shame, which by intensifying, manifests this interiority/holy by leading us to the threshold of the holy in intimo meo.
