The contribution presents the analysis of a corpus of texts posted on Spotted and Poivorrei, collective Instagram accounts, by university students. The analysis of the corpus highlights the changes that took place in communication style and contents in the transition from the traditional university life to the unprecedented condition of students in the different phases of the Covid-19 pandemic. These changes affect the emotions, expressed through lexical forms and elements of paralanguage (from punctuation to emoji) such as to represent, as always happens in social networks, the reproduction in written form of users’ voices between public and slang communication. The study reconstructs, reveals and draws a map of the places, the most recurring themes and the modalities and degree of emotional interactions (judgments, sensations, emotions, etc.).
