This contribution aims at arguing the efficacy of autobiography as a tool of inclusion and for inclusion. Indeed, thanks toits individual and universal properties and potentials, autobiography is accessible to everyone, enjoyable by everybody. Starting from an in‐depth investigation on the paternal profile, on post‐modern family innovation and the related socio‐cultural impacts, an intertwined decoding of three autobiographical works begins. The analysis is conducted as three fathers’ formation paths, in relation to the existence of their children and the situationof disability that they all experience. Since autobiography presents itself as a means expressing both singular diversity and relationships with other diversities, social and scholastic systems need to welcome the autobiography as urgent opportunity for interpersonal enrichment, especially in the context of didactics for inclusion and inclusive teaching for family education.
