Aspetti strutturali e funzionali del Reg. UE n. 181/2011 in materia di trasporto di persone su strada

Regulation (EU) No 181/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 16 February 2011, introduces EU legislation on the rights of passengers in bus and coach transport within the Member States of the European Union in order to strengthen the protection of passengers and their luggage. However, it should be noted that the regulation in question has a narrow scope of application. It leaves a great deal of room to the State’s internal rules, thus not allowing to reach a high degree of uniformity within the EU

Il reg. Ce n. 181/2011 del Parlamento europeo e del Consiglio del 16 febbraio 2011, introduce la disciplina comunitaria sui diritti dei passeggeri nel trasporto effettuato con autobus all’interno dei singoli Paesi dell’Unione europea al fine di rafforzare la tutela dei passeggeri e dei loro bagagli. Si deve registrare, tuttavia, come il regolamento in esame abbia una portata applicativa ristretta lasciando ampio margine all’operatività delle singole disposizioni normative interne degli Stati, non consentendo di raggiungere un elevato grado di uniformità in ambito comunitario
