The article analyses the 2020 Italian parliamentary approval of 2021-23 Budget Law, the Budget Session 2020 (§1-3), in light of the Covid-19 pandemic emergency context (§ 4). In conclusion (§ 5), the author highlights some of the main issues arising from the gap between the Italian management of economic policy and the European Commission Guidelines for the National Recovery and Resilience Plans.
