Cesa´s integrating ethics: identity and difference in classical German philosophy. In the collection of essays Verso l´eticità, Cesa shows how the Sittlichkeit can be considered both as the field of a difficult comparison as well as the meeting point between different perspectives of classical German philosophy. The author dwells in particular on Hegel, who tries to mediate between Schelling´s organic view of nature and Fichte´s ethical tension of thought. Hegel takes up from the latter (and from the Kantian tradition) the principles of freedom and individuality. However, thanks to his organic approach, he tries on the one hand to avoid the outcomes of the closed, mechanical and overwhelming Fichtean State, and on the other hand he tries not to run into the problems arising from the undifferentiated unity of Schelling´s philosophy. According to Cesa, the outcome of Hegel´s philosophy is far from the monolith of an alleged ethical State. Hegel´s solution presents some aporias, but above all it is full of interesting and fruitful tensions.

Abstract
Hegel´s solution presents some aporias, but above all it is full of interesting and fruitful tensions.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
