The use of social robotics in education emerges as an innovative strategy to improve the learning process and student engagement. Social robots, due to their multimodal interaction ability (language, gestures, tablet) and the capacity to provide immediate and personalized feedback, are able to interact with students in a natural way, mak- ing learning interactive. This paper explores the use of the social robot Pepper as an inclusive educational tool to enhance mathematics learning. An inclusive educational activity is described, which combines Pepper’s multimodal approach with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles and storytelling. The activity aims to engage stu- dents through immediate, personalized and emotional feedback, creating a stimulating, dynamic and encouraging learning environment.

Abstract
The use of social robotics in education emerges as an innovative strategy to improve the learning process and student engagement. Social robots, due to their multimodal interaction ability (language, gestures, tablet) and the capacity to provide immediate and personalized feedback, are able to interact with students in a natural way, mak- ing learning interactive. This paper explores the use of the social robot Pepper as an inclusive educational tool to enhance mathematics learning. An inclusive educational activity is described, which combines Pepper’s multimodal approach with Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles and storytelling. The activity aims to engage stu- dents through immediate, personalized and emotional feedback, creating a stimulating, dynamic and encouraging learning environment.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
