Cura e ingiustizie epistemiche. Dalla sofferenza sociale alla parità partecipativa

This contribution aims to investigate the generation of epistemic injus-tices in care contexts and to hypothesise an integrated approach to justice that could help reduce them. First, however, it is necessary to clarify what is meant by 'care' and 'care-oriented practices'. This preliminary clarification is followed by three interrelated steps. First, I consider what constitutes an epistemic injustice and which models of justice it calls into question. Secondly, I develop an initial mapping of the possible epistemic injustices that arise in care contexts. The third step involves proposing an integrated approach to epistemic justice that does not rely solely on individual virtues or the redistribution of goods or resources. Finally, I will propose a model of justice oriented primarily towards non-domination, which is capable of diagnosing social suf-fering in terms of misrecognition and promoting participatory equality.
