Lo spazio e le donne

Considering dwelling as the human way of being in the world, the text emphasises an often neglected dimension: to exist is ‘to be in place’. Content of existence, semantic and performative configurations: places are plexuses of conditions of possibility, not inert scenographies. The focus is therefore on the home and the city: two particular places in which not only the vicissitudes of women can be read, but without whose transformation, emancipatory practices for everyone and for all cannot be realised.
