The article focuses on the digital component of a PhD project that studies the dissemination of Giovanni Boccaccio’s literary production in the territory of Le Marche Region in the humanistic age (14th-16th century). In particular, it presents Tra.Ma.Bo., the digital collection of manuscripts copied in that area that pass on the author’s works. Most of them are now outside the region - in other Italian libraries and abroad - and the study aims to reconstruct the paths followed by these witnesses. After discussing some case studies and critical issues encountered in the research, the contribution describes the stages of creation and the technical structure of Tra.Ma.Bo., showing how the digital tool facilitates the reconstruction of these routes.
