In this article-review, some recent publications on women's literary production in the Middle Ages will be examined and critically discussed. An attempt will be made to show how some studies, tainted by an ideological and militant approach, risk invalidating the understanding of women's intellectual activities in the Middle Ages, while other rigorous editorial operations return a stimulating panorama also for possible didactic declinations.

Abstract
In this article-review, some recent publications on women's literary production in the Middle Ages will be examined and critically discussed. An attempt will be made to show how some studies, tainted by an ideological and militant approach, risk invalidating the understanding of women's intellectual activities in the Middle Ages, while other rigorous editorial operations return a stimulating panorama also for possible didactic declinations.File in questo prodotto:
