More specifically, the study focuses on the implementation of the Moodle platform as a virtual testing platform for assessing students’ language skills, providing a detailed account of the various exercises and quizzes developed for this purpose. Additionally, the study analyses the statistics related to the utilisation of the Moodle platform, including test scores and pass/fail rates, in order to emphasise the advantages and potential benefits of using Moodle-based testing in online language learning environments. The study highlights the effectiveness of Moodle in evaluating language proficiency and its potential to contribute to the improvement of language learning and assessment methods in higher education institutions. The examination of the Moodle platform and the statistical data presented in this research offer valuable insights into the effectiveness of virtual testing tools in evaluating language skills. By expanding on the advantages and potential benefits of Moodle-based testing, this study emphasises the importance of using digital tools to support language learning and assessment in higher education. Ultimately, this research seeks to provide a valuable contribution to the field of language testing and assessment, supporting the development of innovative and effective approaches to language teaching and evaluation.
