"Fantasia pittrice" e scienza nelle poesie di Fortunata Sulgher Fantastici

This investigation revolves around the presence of scientific subject matter in poetry collections by Fortunata Sulgher, texts initially extemporized, then published. In an age, the latter half of the Eighteenth century, in which a passion for science, itself a trend, tended to impose didactic poetry, Sulgher’s verses deal with scientific themes in a pastoral and mythical context, received in a syncretistic fashion, sometimes mixing epistemological paradigms at odds with each other. L’indagine verte sulle occorrenze di temi scientifici nelle poesie di Fortunata Sulgher, testi inizialmente destinati all’improvvisazione, poi editi. In un’epoca, la seconda metà del Settecento, in cui la passione per la scienza, divenuta un fatto di costume, impone la poesia didascalica, i versi di Sulgher attraversano temi scientifici, in cornici pastorali e mitiche, recepiti in modo sincretico, fondando paradigmi epistemologici anche in contrasto tra loro.
