Strengthening the Italian Continuing Vocational Education and Training System through Lifelong Learning Culture

Italy is facing unprecedented transformations, including technological innovation, green transition, COVID-19 and demographic evolution. Dramatic are the impacts on firms and especially on workers for whom the social recommended solution is to participate in learning activities. Can the Italian continuing vocational education and training (henceforth CVET) prepare adults to face these challenges? The answer, here suggested, is to boost lifelong learning culture among entrepreneurs/managers and workers to strengthen the CVET system.
