The Severan Basilica at Lepcis Magna is a well-known landmark monument in North Africa, mainly excavated and restored by the Italian Archaeological Service during the years of the Italian administration of Libya. In the previous issue of Libya Antiqua (no. XII, 2019), an article providing hitherto unpublished data from excavation notes and old photographs, archived at the University of Macerata, Italy, has been focusing on the researches carried there by Pietro Romanelli and Renato Bartoccini (1922-1928). The current paper completes the previous one, presenting the investigations on the monument under the direction of Giacomo Guidi and Giacomo Caputo (1929- 1938). The aim is the better knowledge on the Lepcitan Basilica Nova Severiana to be achieved: hopefully, some, at least, gaps about it, acknowledgeable in the history of researches so far, will be filled up.
