Covid-19 has shut the world’s schools. Unless it ends soon, its effects on young minds as well as on teachers’ freedom, social and democratic system could be devastating. Based on the assertion that, as soon as pandemic is over, the only way is to reopen the school doors, the aim of this short paper is to focus on the importance of school as a place (in its different meanings), then on the need to rethink the school spaces and environments. A brief conclusion is focused on the role of technology in the education system.

Abstract
Covid-19 has shut the world’s schools. Unless it ends soon, its effects on young minds as well as on teachers’ freedom, social and democratic system could be devastating. Based on the assertion that, as soon as pandemic is over, the only way is to reopen the school doors, the aim of this short paper is to focus on the importance of school as a place (in its different meanings), then on the need to rethink the school spaces and environments. A brief conclusion is focused on the role of technology in the education system.File in questo prodotto:
