The aim of this paper is to investigate the beginnings Michel Henry’s thought. Before Henry discovered phenomenology, especially the Husserl and Heidegger’s thought, he devotes his mémoire to Baruch Spinoza. This mémoire will be analysed in three steps: firstly, an investigation of Henry’s thought starting from his interpretation of Spinoza will be proposed; secondly, this interpretation will be analysed; finally, a connection between the initial work of Henry and his Christianity’s thought will be suggested.
