In French philosopher Jean-Luc Marion’s work, the word “saturation” is very familiar, and one could say that its philosophical role “va sans dire”. Goal of this essay is to explore (not necessarily in a critical way but rather, as it were, in the style of “marginal” remarks and in a sort of Wiederholung) such a role and the novelties it introduces in the field where it occurs, namely, phenomenology.
