The central idea discussed in this paper is the lack of phenomenological analysis of falsification in the research developed within the experimental phenomenological approach. This lack of analysis is somewhat surprising. In fact, experimental phenomenologists have widely looked for counter-factuals in their experimental practice as a direct consequence of postulating the priority of experience over theories and models. On the basis of our previous investigations of this issue, we propose the role of perceptual opposition as a phenomenal condition of falsification.

Abstract
The central idea discussed in this paper is the lack of phenomenological analysis of falsification in the research developed within the experimental phenomenological approach. This lack of analysis is somewhat surprising. In fact, experimental phenomenologists have widely looked for counter-factuals in their experimental practice as a direct consequence of postulating the priority of experience over theories and models. On the basis of our previous investigations of this issue, we propose the role of perceptual opposition as a phenomenal condition of falsification.File in questo prodotto:
