Through the Internet an affiliating enterprise has the possibility to reach end user and franchisees by providing information and services to both. The paper discusses these elements and presents the results of an exploratory study about a multi-sector sample of 305 international franchisor websites. The study also aims to evaluate the customer oriented approach of the websites examined.
