Digitales Storytelling in der Museumskommunikation. Funktional-formale Analyse und Auswirkungen für die DaF-Didaktik

The paper begins with a discussion of the characteristics of knowledge transfer in museums, emphasising the key role of digital storytelling. This is followed by an introduction to the design and structure of the KHM Stories application of the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, an example of which is analysed from a functional and formal point of view. Finally, suggestions are presented for integrating digital museum narration into the teaching and learning of German as a foreign language, with the aim of promoting a multimodal form of learning.
