The recognition provides for the possibility, in 2025, of conducting an independent archaeological mission in the ancient necropoleis of Suani el-Abiad, Al-Beida, Siret el-Bab, and Siret el-Giamel, located in the Cyrenaican chora (eastern Libya). The mission aims to acquire knowledge through systematic field explorations, strengthen international scientific collaboration with Libya, and initiate a strategy for the protection, conservation, and enhancement of this important and widespread archaeological heritage, which, unfortunately, is currently in a severely damaged condition.
Il riconoscimento prevede la possibilità per il 2025 di svolgere Missione archeologica autonoma nelle necropoli antiche di Suani el -Abiad, di Al -Beida, di Siret el-Bab, di Siret el-Giamel nella chora cirenaica (Libia orientale), per acquisire conoscenze da esplorazioni sistematiche sul territorio, rafforzare la collaborazione scientifica internazionale con la Libia e avviare una strategia di tutela, conservazione e valorizzazione di questo importante patrimonio archeologico diffuso, oggi purtroppo assai danneggiato.
