Il mondo scardinato. Dispositivi poietici, dinamiche e rappresentazioni degli stati di eccezionalità

This volume collects some of the contributions presented at the international conference "The world out of joint. Poietic devices, dynamics and representations of states of exceptionality", held in Rome and Zagarolo from 5 to 7 October 2023. The purpose of the conference was to investigate the social, cultural and ethical implications of the representation of the exceptional fact through a variety of discourses (literary, philosophical, political, journalistic) and images (visual arts, performing arts, cinema). It also aimed at showing to what extent these representations are capable of undermining traditional genres and forms through innovative models. These considerations allowed for a general reflection on man’s different reactions against the adversities of the modern world: in fact, the discussion focused on the allegorical function connected to the extraordinary event as well as on the ideological and aesthetic specificities of the representations that arise from the latter with all their creative and performative strength.

Abstract Il volume raccoglie alcuni dei contributi presentati al convegno internazionale "Il mondo scardinato. Dispositivi poietici, dinamiche e rappresentazioni degli stati di eccezionalità", tenutosi a Roma e Zagarolo dal 5 al 7 ottobre 2023. L'obiettivo delle giornate di studio era di indagare le implicazioni sociali, culturali ed etiche della rappresentazione del fatto eccezionale, attraverso la varietà dei discorsi (letterario, filosofico, politico, giornalistico) e delle immagini (arti visive, arti performative, cinema), come pure la loro capacità di scardinare generi e forme tradizionali prospettando modelli innovativi. Si è potuto riflettere, per questo, sulle diverse reazioni dell’uomo di fronte alle avversità del mondo attuale, esplorando la funzione allegorica connessa all’evento straordinario, nonché le specificità ideologiche ed estetiche delle rappresentazioni che ne scaturiscono con tutta la loro forza creatrice e performativa.
