The paper presents some new information on the Cupra Maritima’s calendar fragments and reflects on the places where the two epigraphic documents regulating the measurement of time were publicly displayed: the Fasti (the time of urban life) and the Fasti consulares (the time of history). The hypothesis of a joint display of the two documents, in obedience to a precise political will of adherence to the central power, is fully confirmed.

Abstract
The paper presents some new information on the Cupra Maritima’s calendar fragments and reflects on the places where the two epigraphic documents regulating the measurement of time were publicly displayed: the Fasti (the time of urban life) and the Fasti consulares (the time of history). The hypothesis of a joint display of the two documents, in obedience to a precise political will of adherence to the central power, is fully confirmed.File in questo prodotto:
