The paper focuses on the fine arts, more specifically on paintings, in the didactics of German as a foreign language. Museum audio guides make an important contribution to introducing and visualising the artwork in question: they can stimulate and guide learners' cognitive and aesthetic experience in the foreign language by focussing on the paintings and at the same time offering examples of authentic language.

Abstract

The paper focuses on the fine arts, more specifically on paintings, in the didactics of German as a foreign language.
