Objectives The project aims at promoting gender equality, inclusion, diversity and respect to difference in the Academia. Strengthening the capacity of Universities to build inclusive education communities through the provision of know-how to implement GEPs and educating university students on the topic of GEPs are key objectives. The project aspires to build the capacities of Universities’ staff to promote gender equality and enhance transfer of knowledge between CSOs, Think Tanks and Universities. Implementation Research will be conducted on the current level of University’s preparedness to implement/monitor their GEPs which will lead to the drafting of a comparative Google Slides slide book as well as a practical Handbook on how to implement (operationalize) a GEP. Raising awareness material will be created by students to enhance their understanding regarding GEPs and small-scale projects, acting as a Campaign, will be organized. National Policy Reports, including policy recommendations, will be drafted. Results The project is expected to increase the capacity of PPs to revise their GEPs. New knowledge on the topic will be created and exchanged at EU level. Policy makers will enhance their evidence-based policy making. Students will be empowered to implement small-scale projects and become allies in the implementation of GEPs in their Universities. They will increase their sense of responsibility towards ensuring that Universities implement the GEPs and keeping them accountable for any shortcomings.
