“Diritto, Arte e Discipline umanistiche: metodologia di connessioni creative” / “Law, Art and Humanities: methodology of creative connections”

The disruptive technological development is not accompanied by a proportional appreciation of the humanistic dimension of knowledge. If the jurist has adapted his studies to the stimuli offered by technology, that has become a key to an essential reading of the legal phenomenon, the same cannot be said for the humanistic culture, conceived and lived separately from the legal area. On the specific side of art, it is observed, on the one hand, that technologies facilitate the development of new artistic expressions and favour a wider diffusion and fruition of them (cd. democratic art); on the other hand, the prevailing market logic, especially of the new forms of speculation, seems to shift the focus from the process to the product, reversing the spirit that had animated the movement of the crypto art. The jurist, while questioning the meaning of human creativity especially with reference to the works created by artificial intelligence, feels the need to recover and experience its authentic meaning starting from himself and his profession. At the same time, the humanities feel the need to acquire the legal foundations of the national and European identity culture and the canons of an increasingly common legal interpretation. The synergy between legal and humanistic disciplines represents the strategic tool for the renewal of scientific research in continuity with the cultural tradition of the University of Macerata.
