Archaeology Communication and Education as a Pivot of the University’s Third Mission. The Project “The History around us”: between Archaeological Eesearch, Heritage Education and Citizen Education. Intervento in Online International Workshop RETHINKING CULTURE AND CREATIVITY The Role of Cultural Heritage in the Green and Digital Transition, II - University of Macerata, 10th-11th november 2022

This contribution illustrates a heritage-based education project focused on the archaeological heritage of Sant'Angelo in Vado. The project arose within a complex framework of actions of valorisation of the strong cultural asset represented by the archaeological evidence of this territory, and in direction of the local community empowerment, thanks to an increasing cooperation berween the local authorities, the schools of the area and the University of Macerata.
