In the critical vulgate the ambivalent figure of Alexander, since ancient times, has represented a model of encounter with oriental diversity. In the Alexandre en prose novel of the J2 interpolation of the Historia de preliis, the exploration of the marvelous eastern lands gains more and more the character of an armed clash, of which it is interesting to study the iconic realization. The intent of our report will therefore be to investigate on the iconological and textual level this accentuated conflictual characterization with the alien and teratomorphic diversity
