The paper presents the acceptance of the word “eco-phenomenology” that is specific to the World Phenomenology Institute, resulting from the research in the phenomenology of life carried out by its founder, Anna-Teresa Tymieniecka, for over 40 years. Her most conclusive discovery was the ontopoietic logos of life, the productive and ordering force, which is at the base of cosmic becoming and forms of human existence, leading them all to their transcendental destination. From the standpoint of the World Phenomenology Institute ecology can be considered and practiced in its germinal condition, or rather from the perspective of the self-individualization of life, the basic instrument of ontopoiesis that constitutes the cosmic dependencies of the human mind and human development.
