The three papers that open the volume in Part I delineate an overall picture of Bozzi’s standpoint. They set out the framework for the writings that follow and that go more deeply into one or another issue. Experimental phenomenology (Chapter 1) is one of Bozzi’s last writings, to which the Verona discussions we have just mentioned were a spur. It is certainly the paper in which he presents an overview of his Experimental Phenomenology of Perception (henceforth, EPhP).
