The concepts of employability and student-centred learning, as they are thouroughly analized in the EHEA documents, will be here briefly expounded; 2. These two concepts will be read as the opposite poles of an antinomy of the educational process which should not be reduced by means of a linear mediation to the detriment of the depth of the educational process. It will be in particular pointed out that the concept of competence, representing the theoretical connection between the student-centred learning and employability, is structurally ambiguous and incomplete as the appreciation of the subject is lacking; 3. It will also be pointed out that the EHEA documents, despite the emphasis on student-centred learning paradigm, lack an educational theory capable to contact the person and favour a vision of education apt to introduce the students into the labour world (employability).

Abstract
The concepts of employability and student-centred learning, as they are thouroughly analized in the EHEA documents, will be here briefly expounded; 2. These two concepts will be read as the opposite poles of an antinomy of the educational process which should not be reduced by means of a linear mediation to the detriment of the depth of the educational process. It will be in particular pointed out that the concept of competence, representing the theoretical connection between the student-centred learning and employability, is structurally ambiguous and incomplete as the appreciation of the subject is lacking; 3. It will also be pointed out that the EHEA documents, despite the emphasis on student-centred learning paradigm, lack an educational theory capable to contact the person and favour a vision of education apt to introduce the students into the labour world (employability).File | Dimensione | Formato | |
