This Action aims to bring together the expertise of research groups in Europe and internationally to stimulate innovative and policy-relevant research to provide decision-makers with a management tool concerning active ageing, international relationships and family and social care. Against one of the most profound social transformation, the Actions aims to improve the coordination among public and research stakeholders at local and International level; increase the sustainability of social health; favor the development of competences and skills of researchers, public institutions and careers; enforce the level of awareness and information on the services and policies target to elderly. It contributes to reduce the growing fragmentation of families and a decreasing social and relational stability through the development of decision-support tools to assist policy-makers in planning; training for careers; mobility programme and international workshops.

Abstract
