Fashion & Textiles (abbreviated as FATE) is a double-blind peer-reviewed international journal dedicated to promoting scholarly exchange among academic and industrial researchers in the field of fashion and textiles. FATE is an open access journal published under the SpringerOpen brand in online versions. Aims of the journal are to advance knowledge and to seek new perspectives to fashion and textiles worldwide through original research articles, review papers, editorial, case study, book reviews and letters to the editor. The fashion and textiles discipline has intertwined with aligned disciplines such as natural sciences, humanities, social sciences, and the arts. In today’s rapidly changing, increasingly complex environment of academia and industries, this discipline is more converged and diverged. Continuing to make this progress, FATE envisions the capabilities of integrated disciplines that will help scholars and industry experts provide challenging and rewarding opportunities. The scope of the journal includes the following four technical research divisions: •Textile science and Technology: Material Science and Engineering, Fiber and Textile Processing, Dyeing and Finishing, Smart and Intelligent Textiles •Clothing Science and Technology: Anthropometry, Physiology of Clothing/Textile Products, Computer Aided Clothing Manufacturing and Operation •Economics of Clothing and Textiles/Fashion Business: Supply Chain Management of Clothing and Textiles Industry, Merchandising, Retailing, Fashion Marketing, Consumer Behavior •Fashion Design and History: Aesthetic Aspects of Fashion Product or Design Process, Fashion Trend, Textiles/Clothing/Fashion Design, Cultural Study on Fashion, History of Fashion, Costume or Dress Fashion and Textiles is associated with the The Korean Society of Clothing and Textiles. The journal enjoys the full support of the KSCT, who provide funds to cover all costs of publication, including the Article Processing Charges (APC’s) for all authors. Therefore the journal is both free to read and free to publish in for everyone.
