The essay " al-Fāryāq in al-Sāq ʿalā al-sāq: Genesis, Transformation and Formation of a Fictional Character" analyses the fictional character, based on autobiographical features, of Faryaq. The textual analysis aims at showing the evolution of this charachter and the complex liminality which characterizes him, exploring the deeply intertextual vocation of this masterpiece.
