The paper reports results from an explorative research on the San Francesco religious route, limiting the interest to the part located in the region of the Marches. To some extent, it has evident linkages to the more known Umbrian section of the route, but in the same time seems to have a weak appeal for the Marchigian local communities. Thus, the paper aims at answer the research question on which are the main weak/strong features of a local stakeholders network oriented at developing a religious route in rural areas.

Abstract
The paper reports results from an explorative research on the San Francesco religious route, limiting the interest to the part located in the region of the Marches. To some extent, it has evident linkages to the more known Umbrian section of the route, but in the same time seems to have a weak appeal for the Marchigian local communities. Thus, the paper aims at answer the research question on which are the main weak/strong features of a local stakeholders network oriented at developing a religious route in rural areas.File in questo prodotto:
