"According to the needs of EU countries, European young people and the VET systems, this project aims to improve the system of assessment of VET already put in place by University of Macerata through a strong cooperation with other Universities already specialized on this type of actions such as Varna Free University in Bulgaria, the Institute for Work and Technology in Germany and the Institute of Technology Tallaght in Ireland and, on the other hand, share this best practice with NGOs and companies which are already involved on VET as hosting or intermediary Institutions. In fact, as mentioned on other sections of the application these companies and NGOs already established their own system of evaluation of their VET programmes and most of them participate at European project of assessment of VET experiences. Finally, the main aim of this project is: testing the University of Macerata online longitudinal assessment of VET in another two countries such Ireland and Bulgaria and on the meantime approaching this methodology in Germany. In particular, the applicants would gather micro data on national civic service in those countries, EVS and Leonardo programmes and start a desk research on regional and national VET programmes in Germany in order to run, in the next future, the assessment there."
