Presenza giudaico-cristiana nell’Islām

Gli obiettivi del percorso di ricerca erano evidenziare e identificare laddove possibile i gruppi settari giudeo-cristiani conosciuti alle fonti arabo-islamiche. In effetti, pochi sono stati i gruppi identificati con assoluta certezza perché le fonti selezionate hanno offerto spesso denominazioni fortemente alterate. Numerose le fonti utilizzate (greche, latine, siriache, ebraiche, bizantine, arabe e persiane) che diffondendosi, in alcuni casi, si sono scambiate reciproche informazioni.

The purpose of PhDTh «Judaeo-Christian Tradition in Islam» would trace the history of Jewish Christianity among the Arabs and related to the topic of Sects and Sectarianism that Arabic-Islamic sources known with ambiguous and adulterate terms. The identification of various Jewish Christian religious groups and movements is very difficult, so the question of terminology depicted by the selected sources. Numerous authors and useful references (in Greek, Latin, Syriac, Hebrew, Byzantine, Arabic and Persian), sometimes, circulated a similar and mutual convictions.
