The article deals with Jandun's Commentary on the Metaphysics in its various aspects, starting from its manuscript tradition to its influence. It also analyses Jandun's opinion concerning some key-problems of a commentary on the metaphysics, such as the concept of philosophical inquiry, the relationship between logic and metaphysics, God's omnipotence.
