This Project aims to introduce Consumer Education at University level and, at the same time, to streghten the relationship between University and Consumers Organization in the field of Consumers Education. Moreover, this project aims to promote www.Consumerclassroom.eu, the official Consumer Education of the EU, within young people and in general. This project will introduce what is Consumer Education and introduce some important aspects of consumer education such as Services of General Interest such as food safety, water suplly, energy, transport, telecommunication, waste recycling and financial literacy in interdisciplinary approach such as Law, Economics and empirical example in cooperation with consumer organization. Finally, the module will be split in three different parts: Theory, case studies and laboratory. This approach will allow to the students to learn the topics, compare the Theory with the reality and finally work on the topic through excise on data analysis. Finally, the project foresees as well as some conferences in order to promote the topics to the civil society. The Project foresees to introduce EuroBarometer data and its application through Computer Software. The analysis will allow to publish the results on peer-reviewed scientific review. The data analysis will allow to Federconsumatori to improve their activity on the support of its members of consumers. A final conference in Brussels and a book publication will close the project after three years.
