The ‘Sardinian Young Wines Exhibition’ of Milis is a feasible example of a successful wine and food festival held in a peripheral location, the Italian island of Sardinia. The Stakeholder Analysis allowed us to describe the map of power and interests of local social and economic actors and thus explain the capability of a local community in organizing a wine festival. The analysis allows also to individuate who are the main social supporters/opponents, offering a solid starting point for future political choices.

Abstract

The ‘Sardinian Young Wines Exhibition’ of Milis is a feasible example of a successful wine and food festival held in a peripheral location, the Italian island of Sardinia. The Stakeholder Analysis allowed us to describe the map of power and interests of local social and economic actors and thus explain the capability of a local community in organizing a wine festival. The analysis allows also to individuate who are the main social supporters/opponents, offering a solid starting point for future political choices.
