What does it mean to recognize and value mobility in a European context whose dominant educational discourse is marked by neoliberal and managerial ideology ? We will present a chronological analysis of European texts promoting these mobilities at the level of higher education (Bologna process, Erasmus ...). This critical review is also based on studies measuring the impact of mobility for young Europeans whose results are more nuanced. In addition, guides (passports, etc.) and questionnaires convey mobility descriptors that also contribute to the dissemination of a certain doxa of employability-mobility. A counterpoint is proposed from the emergence of collaborative and telecollaborative inter-linguistic and cultural practices.

Que signifient la reconnaissance et la valorisation des mobilités dans un contexte européen dont le discours dominant éducatif est empreint d’idéologie néo-libérale et managériale ? On présentera une analyse chronologique de textes européens promouvant ces mobilités au niveau de l’enseignement supérieur (processus de Bologne, Erasmus ...). Cette revue critique s’appuie également sur des études mesurant l’impact des mobilités des jeunes Européens dont les résultats sont plus nuancés. Par ailleurs, les guides (passeports, etc.) et les questionnaires véhiculent des descripteurs de mobilité qui participent également à la diffusion d’une certaine doxa de l’employabilité-mobilité. Un contrepoint est proposé à partir de l’émergence de pratiques collaboratives et télécollaboratives inter-linguistiques et culturelles.
