The aim of this paper is to discuss the development of an emotional memory for avversion towards unfamiliar people. Th main point is to give evidence of a family dinamic which determine the onset in child of a shyness and retrieve in facing with others different from mother. In adult this memory can give explanation of maladjument behaviour in social interactions.
